Hello! I'm glad you stopped by.
I got started making wire jewelry when trying to figure out how to attach beads and coins to a belly dance costume. While going through the local craft store to find materials and instructions, I came across a book on wire jewelry. Looking through it, it had what I was looking for and a whole lot more! From that first pair of simple earring I discovered a world both new and familiar.
Growing up I've always enjoyed the beauty of nature. A fascination with rocks developed at summer camp, where as a kid I learned to cut cabs from stones found in the local streambed. I almost majored in Geology in college, but biology was a required subject. The labs for that class were just not my cup of tea, so I took whatever geology courses I could without being a major. Good thing too, it was there I met my husband.
I have a day job as a programmer of business applications, but making jewelry is fast becoming my first love. When not in the office, I belly dance, practice Taiji and, of course, make jewelry.
I search everywhere I go for unusual stones that can be turned into pendants, rings, bracelets and earrings. I have found things in flea markets, trade shows, the internet and even on vacation in Bali!
I hope you enjoy wearing my jewelry as much as I enjoy making it!
